Bring on the Summer, baby!!

Heyas everyone! So, we're back in the Summer season again, and I couldn't be happier! Yeah, even though I'm born in October, I love the warm weather. Hopefully this won't be another hot, sticky, sweltering Summer we've been having. I love the warmth, but I can't stand the oppressive, humid, nasty hot weather. But we'll see. So far it hasn't been that bad. Anyway, I'm back at my old job. Things are pretty much the same, so it's not so bad. The only thing is that I'm still waiting for that "dream" job that'll help me save up and get out of this dump town of Reading. I anticipated that it won't easy finding a job in these tough, economic times, but I didn't think it would be THIS hard. *sigh* But I'm sure something will come along. I just have to have patience and not give up. It's hard, but I'll keep holding on, no matter what. I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day and Father's Day that just passed in America. To all you moms out there....there's no words that can describe how important you are, how much we appreciate you being there for us..whether it's for the midnight bottle feedings, or being there for us to watch us go to our first jobs, as my mom did. No job ever could replace the sacrifice and determination you moms have. Thank you. To the fathers out there, hats off to you too! Dads are important too, just as much as mothers. We often take fathers for granted, but fathers have a big impact on our lives too. Fathers are there for a legacy, for guidance, for strength, and for support when we need it. Sadly, not all fathers take that roll, but for those who do.....blessings to you, all you dads, and may your lessons carry on for many generations.

I'm still continuing my original story, Legacy Of The Gods: Blood Ties. I'm having a blast writing it and I'm so grate for the few encouraging, positive comments I get. I know I'm not very popular here because my stories and characters are original and ethnic, but that's okay. Like I've said before, I'm not doing this for attention or to be popular. I love writing, it brings me so much joy, peace, and calms my mind from the turmoil my life has become. One of my biggest dreams is to become an author, and writing my stories here is great practice in strengthening my imagination. So it's cool I don't get a lot of comments. That's not what I'm here for. Other than that, I'm just hanging in there. Please keep checking back for more adventures with Billie and the other characters in my story! I'm still looking for anyone who is interested in doing fanart requests or even commissions for me of my characters. Please email or note me for details.
