Hey everyone! Yes, I know, it's been a while, but at least I didn't let the year go out without me coming back and letting you know I'm alive. Yes, things have been busy for me with not just work, but going over and revising ALL my stories, from Sailor Sirius to Fire From The Sun. Not to mention I'm still doing a bit of research for my next story, which hopefully will deal with Hawaiian mythology. I did find out there's a story out there that deals with Hawaiian gods, but I'm still thinking of doing it and hopefully mine will be a little different. Other than that, I've just been taking each day as it come, getting over ear infections and colds, and keeping positive.

I hope everyone had a great Summer, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas....that is, those who celebrate those holidays. Still, no matter what religion you are or country you're in, it's good to reflect on the year and just be grateful for what you have and what you've accomplished. You don't have to have a religion or "believe" in anything to do that. Be thankful, and appreciate your family, home, and friends.

Anyways, I'm still looking for anyone to do requests and even commissions. Drop me a note, okay? Take care, and please stay safe!

Hiyas! Man, I'm getting better at this. At least not 6 or 7 or 8 months passed by without me saying anything. ^^ I hope everyone had a great Spring and have great plans for the Summer. For me, I love celebrating June for the warmth and long day on the Summer Solstice, Father's Day, and of course, Juneteenth. Like I've said before for Father's Day, just as in Mother's Day, you don't have to be a biological father to celebrate the holiday. Many men out there are wonderful father figures and mentors to kids, and in some cases, better than real fathers. What matters in being there and helping to guide young men and women to become better people, like I had in my life. So celebrate them too, the father and mother figures in your life that helped mentor you. You don't have to be parent to make a difference in someone's life.

Anyway, nothing much going on with me. I spent a few months going over ALL my writings and fixing up typos, restructuring sentences, and filling in missing words. Man, you'd think you're the world's best writer, then go back and see on the stupid mistakes you missed. Talk about embarrassing! I'm done, and so far, my stories are a much better read. But I still plan on going back every once in a while and check for any typos and mistakes again.

I'm getting over another ear infection. Yay. How fun. Thankfully the medicine I got after I forced myself to go to the hospital is working and I'm feeling and hearing a little better. We'll see. Nothing else much new with me. Very soon, I'll start doing some research on Hawaiian culture and mythology for my next original story. I checked, and while most Middle Grade Literature novels deal with Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and even Hindu and Korean mythology, I haven't really seen any on Hawaiian beside Disney's Moana, while I only half liked. I'm also still looking for anyone who will do commissions. Please, note me and we'll talk. I'd really appreciate it!

Okay, I was hoping someone could help me out in something. Does anyone know the name of the song and the singer playing in the background of this Tiktok video of a teenaged Damian and Anya kissing? They are from the popular anime SPY X FAMILY. It's fanmade, and I'm assuming it's supposed to occur during the Christmas season because of the big Christmas tree in the background. But I really want to know the name of the song and the singer. Can anyone translate? Here's the link:

Hey guys! ^^ Yes, I know, I missed the "two month" deadline for writing a journal and keeping everyone updated. The truth is, work has been quite busy these past couple of months. Changes are coming or at least beginning, and frankly, I couldn't be happier. But I don't want to get into that. Everyone has some issues with their jobs and I'm no different. And I certainly don't want to rant and rave about it. It'll just give them more power.

Anyway, nothing all that new with me. Halloween came and went. Thankfully it was very quiet. Thanksgiving and Christmas came and went too, and I do still want to wish all those who celebrate those holidays and wonderful and happy Thanksgiving and Christmas. I did get sick a little while ago, but thankfully I bounced back. It's NOT a good feeling when you wake up one day and can barely breathe. I'm good now.

One big thing I can announce is that I've been slowly and steadily going through ALL my writings, including my old Sailor Sirius fan fictions. I've been cleaning up typos, misspellings, and fixing sentence structures that ran too long or didn't make sense. I can't believe all the mistakes and typos I found, and no one told me! I'm just about done, but honestly, the chapters are much better to understand and read through. I've also noticed how much I've changed my writing style over the years, so that should be noticeable too. My dream is to become an established author and become the likes of even J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series (please, don't bother writing me and telling me about not being her fan and such because of her controversial views. I'll just tell you to go stuff yourself!). But yeah,I really want to send my stories out there in the world and inspire all children of different backgrounds and nationalities. Going back and fixing up your writings is a big step in that, and while it was hard, it was worth it.

I'm still on the look-out for anyone who would like to me commissioned to draw any of my characters, even Sailor Sirius. Just note me and let me know. I would be so honored! Thanks, and to all of you who celebrate it, have a wonderful Easter and Passover.

Hey folks! ^^ Well, another year is just about to end, and with it, celebrations and reflections on what has occurred...both good and bad. We all hope for the best in the new year, and even when something bad happens, we should never give that up. I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween, those of you who celebrate it. It's been years since I've dressed up, but I do remember back in New York how wonderful and magical Halloween was. It wasn't my favorite holiday, but I loved the idea of hanging out with friends, candy, and having an excuse to cause a little trouble.

I do have a new pic from "Fire From The Sun: Rise Of A Queen" up, but I would also like to take this time to do a little request list for those who would like to contact me on doing requests and even commissions. I figured it was about time:

1. Eternal Sailor Sirius with Marvel's Storm (Ororo Munroe). I can't believe I've never really thought about this. ^^ Even though I'm not much into the SM fandom anymore, I would love to see what it would have been like if they met, just like with Sailor Sirius and Black Panther.

2. My characters from my story "Legacy Of The Gods". I would love to have more pics of my original stories too, but Legacy is on top by my list. Just note me and I'll give details.

Hey everyone! ^^ Nope, still not dead, I'm here. I promised myself that even if I don't do journals regularly, I will NOT make a year go by without posting one. And I did. ^^ Hey, January to August still counts as not officially a whole year, right?

Well, not much has changed. Still have my job, although not working as much, and still in this godforsaken...errr...I mean wonderful small town in PA. Heh heh. But I'm here, alive, and that's what matters, right? I did have a few family members get COVID, but thankfully they've recovered and fine now. I'm continuing to wear my mask and use hand sanitizer, even though people at work tell me I don't have to. Yeah right. I won't put it pass these parents to send their kids to school sick and even having COVID. That's happened before. Yep, a parent knew her daughter had COVID and still sent her to school. When confronted by the school staff, her excuse....to paraphrase it, was "Well, didn't everyone say kids don't get it as bad or they won't get it as much?" Seriously? Yep, we have those kinds of parents here. If parents are arrogant enough to send their kids to school when they're hacking, coughing, feverish, and with green snot dripping from their noses (I've witnessed it SO many times), then they'll send their kids to school with COVID.

* sigh *

Other than that, I'm still here. I do want to give a big thanks to those of you who read and commented on my new story, Fire From The Sun: Rise Of A Queen. You guys know who you are. You really gave me the encouragement, feedback, and just plain courtesy in reading and letting me know what you thought. That means more to me than I can say. I'm sure it means so much to hopeful writers out there. I've mentioned before how much I had the "ignoring" and "disappearing" attitude here on DA so many have experienced, so I wont' go into that again. But I am glad that it's getting just a bit better and I've met some wonderful members here that are willing to say something. You guys know who you are too.

You guys, I know the effects of the pandemic is still raw, but despite that....hang in there. It HAS to get better soon. All we have to do is do the right thing and follow regulations and recommendations on wearing our masks, getting the vaccine (which is up to you, I don't believe in forcing people) and not hopping on planes and boats everywhere unless we know it's safe. Disease also spreads by people going here and there all over the place. Just......relax, take a breather at home, and trust in your heart when it's safe to travel for REAL reasons, not "just because I want to!"
