The Cross of Baron Samedi - Performed by King Diamond - I thought this was an amazing song and this fits the story perfectly. :aww: I love the pace and it's very catchy. Love it!

Stronger Than You Think You Are - Performed by TaRanda Greene - This is a wonderful song about believing in yourself and what you can do. Never give up on yourself, never give up on your dreams. Amazing song. I thought it would fit into the theme the story in which the characters truly have to have faith in their abilities and each other. :D

Lose My Breath - Performed by Destiny's Child - Oh man, I LOVED this song when it first came out! It's such a way to show off your dancing skills, and one of the girls in the group sure has some skills. ;) I've been a fan of Destiny's Child for a long time and it was a pleasure to add this song.

Nightingale - Performed by Demi Lovato - I admit, I'm not the biggest Demi Lovato fan, but you have to admit she's a wonderful, talented singer and she sings this song with all her heart...you can hear it. I thought this fits perfectly for a bit of a budding romance in the story. You'll see. :D

I Believe - Performed by Christina Perri, single from the soundtrack to the movie Pan - When I first heard this song, I knew it was perfect for how each of the main characters feel and accept their destinies. It's very inspirational and it's amazing. :thanks:

Four, Five, Seconds - Performed by Kanye West, Rhianna, and Paul McCourtney - This song is just amazing and I love how it perfectly describes feeling frustrated sometimes, as the characters do in my story. :D Simple, but still catchy.

My Blood - Performed by Ellie Goulding, single from the soundtrack to the movie Cinderella - I simply fell in love with this song the second I heard it! :XD: I love how moving and deep it is. I knew it was a wonderful addition because it perfectly describes Billie's feeling when she finds out who she is. Perfect!

Classic - Performed by MKTO - In a time when all music talks about is sexually explicit things, this song is like a breath of fresh air. :aww: I love how fun it is and how it's about a woman's inner beauty. This definitely fits when it comes to a certain romance that'll happen. You'll see. ;)  

Thinking Out Loud - Performed by Ed Sheeran - I'm getting to be a very big Ed Sheeran fan and this song is just amazing. *dreamy sigh* I love how smooth this is and I love how it fits into the story with it's message of romance and just being human. I love it!

Top Of The World - Performed by Greek Fire, single from the Disney movie "Big Hero Six" - I love this song, it's such a great way to show how you can be strong no matter what, and they characters in the story will definitely need that. :aww:

Strong - Performed by Sonna Rele, single from the Disney movie "Cinderella" - Such an inspirational story for young girls. I thought it would be perfect for how Billie feels in her journey. Very beautiful.

Feel The Light - Performed by Jennifer Lopez, single from the Dreamworks movie "Home" - Okay, I admit, I'm not the biggest Jennifer Lopez fan, but she does turn out some good songs once in a while. This song is one of them, it's so beautiful and inspirational, which fits very well with the theme of the story. :thanks:

I'll Be Okay - Performed by Oh Honey - I love this upbeat, toe-tapping song! :D I think it fits into the hopefully nature of the characters and they find out who they are and what they can do. Too cool.  

Light 'Em Up - Performed by Fallout Boy, single from the movie "Big Hero 6" - There's no way I'm going to pass up this amazing song! It just really spoke to me and I love the positive message to it. This would be perfect for Dante. :D

If You Leave - Performed by OMD, single from the movie "Pretty In Pink" - Hee, I remember this song when it came out. :aww: I love it, and I thought that even though the story takes place in today's time, there's still a bit of '80's romance feel to it among a couple of the characters. ;)

Immortals - Performed by Fallout Boy, single from the movie "Big Hero 6" - Another amazing song by this band, and it's so inspirational. I just love the beat, it easily grabs you.

Aeon - Performed by Nick Murray, ft. Juliet Lyons, single from Disney's Cinderella - I thought the trailer music from the movie fits perfectly with the theme of being true to yourself and showing courage, just as in my story. The music is just breathtaking.

Could You Be Loved - Performed by Bob Marley - An amazing song that I feel perfectly tells Maybelle's personality and theme. I love it, and I used to be such a big Bob Marley fan.:D

Live Life - Performed by Jesse and Joy, single from the movie "The Book Of Life" - If there was ever a song that makes you jump for joy, it's this one! I love it, and it's perfect for when the gang is all discovered and together. Beautiful, just beautiful.

Yellow Flicker Beat - Performed by Lorde, single from the movie "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 - One of the coolest, most down to Earth songs I've ever heard! I love the beat and the inspiration behind it, and it's perfect for how the gods view mortals.

Written In The Stars - Performed by Tinie Tempah ft. Eric Turner - Totally love the message of believing in yourself and in others in this song. I used this to let the readers know how much the characters believe in their destinies.

Hey Soul Sister - Performed by Train - Such an amazing and uplifting song! :D I've loved it for years and I thought it would be perfect for the girls of the team. Yes!

Flashlight - Performed by Jessie J, single from the soundtrack to Pitch Perfect 2 - This is one of the most inspiring and uplifting song I've heard in a long time. Everyone needs a bit of encouragement, and this is just what the characters in my story needs as they struggle with their destinies. I love it.

Fight Song - Performed by Rachel Platten - Oh my gosh, when I heard this, I couldn't get enough of it! I listened to it over and over again. This is such an uplifting and beautiful song about staying strong. It would be perfect for Billie when she first bonds with Aja. :D

Shy Guy - Performed by Diana King - Amazing, amazing song, I thought a little Caribbean flair would be perfect, especially for Maybelle. ;)

Rooftop - Performed by Skylar Stecker - If there was any song that would make me dance, this is it! I love the beat, and the singer is very talented for her age. Love it.

Bring Me To Life - Performed by Evanescence - Amazing song, I love the message and the wonderful beat to it. I don't know too much about the group, but they are sure talented. This is just perfect for how the characters feel as they get their powers.

Beautiful World - Performed by Utada Hikaru, single from the anime Evanglion 2.0 - This song is just amazing, definitely on of Utada's best. To have it part of the Legacy story soundtrack is an honor, and it perfect for how the characters feel about the past and their ancestors. Nice work Utada!

Invincible - Performed by Kelly Clarkson - A beautiful song about having strength inside, no matter what you're going through. I love it because of its strong message and it represents what Maybelle feels when she finds out who she is. :D  

Radioactive - Performed by Imagine Dragons - Such a cool song! I can imagine this being perfect for Ogun when he uses his powers. I love it, love it!

Fire And Gold - Performed by Bea Miller - Very cool song and I love the message behind it. The singer has a great voice and this explains the theme of the story. I can see this as Billie's song in a way. :aww:

Believe - Performed by Shawn Mendes - This adorable little song captured my heart when I first heard it...especially going through a tough time like I am right now. It's adorable and I love the meaning behind it. Beautiful.

Beautiful Mystery - Performed by Owl City - I'm always a sucker for beautiful songs, and this is definitely one. I love how smooth it is and how it tells about believing in things not seen. I love it, and it's perfect for the story and the Ile-Ife scenes.

Let's Go Home - Performed by Carousel - Of all the upbeat, feet-tapping songs I've heard, this has to be one of the best. :aww: It's so uplifting and so perfecting for how the main characters feel about their new destines. :D

New Life - Performed by Two Steps From Hell, single from the soundtrack to the movie Pan - One of the coolest instrumental music I've ever heard, honestly. I love the smoothness and just simple joy of it, just as it pertains to how the characters feeling joy at discovering who they were. Lovely.

Raise Our Voices - Performed by various artists, single from the Barbie movie Barbie in Rock 'N Royal. - Okay, I've never really been a Barbie fan, but I love the message of this song. No matter what, you should always have confidence and do what you are meant to do. I wish I learned that long ago. This is for how close the main characters get through out the story. Awesome song.

Crystals - Performed by Of Monsters And Men - Such a lovely, soft, wonderful song of togetherness and strength. I love it, this could definitely be a theme song for when ALL the descendant are revealed. :aww:

Family Tree - Performed by Matthew West - I never really thought about songs talking about family legacies and lineage, but this really tugged at my heart. I chose this song because just as dealing with Yoruba gods, the characters all have to deal with their legacies and family backgrounds as well. Beautiful.

Where No One Goes - Performed by Jonsi, single from the movie How To Train Your Dragon 2 - Beautiful, upbeat and totally loveable song! :D I love how it perfectly depicts the relationship between Billie and the others in the story and their bond. It helps that its catchy too. ^^

Young Blood - Performed by Aubrey Peebles, single from the soundtrack to Jem and The Holograms - Very empowering and emotional song, I knew this definitely describes the youth and vitality of the characters in the story! I could listen to this all day.

The Reluctant Heroes - Performed by Hiroyuki Sawano, single from the anime Attack On Titan - This is one of the most awesome songs I've ever heard! I love the strong beat and the excellent message it gives. I'm not a fan of the anime or the manga, but the songs are just amazing. I hope you enjoy it too! :D

Never Ending Circles - Performed by CHVRCHES - Such a beautiful song and it definitely fits in the story when it talks about trying to break cycles. I love the beat in this. ^^

Thunderstruck - Performed by Owl City - I couldn't stop listening to this song! :D I'm getting to be a real fan of Owl City and I love the message of their songs. I especially love that about this song and it's perfect for the characters and how they hold on to their faith. Beautifully written and so full of life.  

Good Fight – Performed by Unspoken, single from the movie War Room - I LOOOOOOOVE this! Admittedly, I'm not very religious because of the disappointments in my life, but I will always hold on to hope and this songs perfectly fits that and the struggles Billie and the others go through. Beautiful!

Grateful - Performed by Rita Ora - Who wouldn't love this beautifully written and composed song? We all go through a lot in life, but in the end, we have to be thankful because of what it taught us. That's exactly what the point is in my story here. Everything Billie and the others go through, they are grateful. :aww:

You Think - Performed by Girls' Generation - I don't know too much about this K-Pop group, but I love their sound and this song really fits in with the more modern setting of the story, as well as depicting Samedi's attitude. ^^; Pretty cool.

Man In Love - Performed by Infinite - Another K-Pop group I don't know too much about, but would love to find out more on. This song is just too adorable and I love the message about how it's cool to love doing different things, just as in the story. :thanks:

We'll Be The Stars - Performed by Sabrina Carpenter - I'm not really  into the whole "cute pop song" genres, really. But I really enjoyed this song for some reason and I think it's fits very well to the theme of believing in yourself and trusting in friends. Plus, I really like the singer's voice. Very nice. :D

Take On The World - Performed by Sabrina Carpenter and Rowan Blanchard - Such a cool and inspiring song! I love the message about taking our own life in your hands, just as the characters are doing in my story. Beautifully done!

Cecilia And The Satellite - Performed by Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness - Such an amazing song and I couldn't stop listening to it. ^^ It's a song filled with adventure and it really goes along with the story, mostly because of the sense of adventure it has. :)

Will - Performed by Ayumi Hamasaki, single from the movie Memoirs Of A Geisha - I love the strong, enabling message this has, particularly in trusting in yourself and your destiny. I love the amazing music in this.

Who Are You? - Performed by BoA Kwon - I've been a fan of this J-Pop and K-Pop singer for a very long time, and it's amazing to see how far she's come. :aww: This is just an amazing song and the beat and message fits so well with the story. I love it.

Melt My Heart - Performed by Eric Nam - What a delicious, adorable, and wonderful song this is! I completely love the beat and message it gives. There's no way I could have passed this up once I heard it. The feel of it fits so well with the story. Hope you all think so too!

Castle - Performed by Halsey, single from the movie Huntsman: Winter's War - I love, love, love, LOVE this song! It's just perfect for the deep feel of this story and the intense fight scenes. It's just amazing, I listened to it for hours. :D


Gold - Performed by Casey Lee Williams and Jeff Williams, single from the anime RWBY - If you don't love the feel and vibe of this song...something is wrong with you. ^^; I love how light-hearted and simple this is, and it's perfect for the relationship between Billie and Dante. Love it!

Say Yes - Performed by Jessica and Krystal Jung, ft Kris, single from the soundtrack to the movie "Make Your Move" - Oh my gosh, what an amazing song! :D It makes you just want to get up and do all your movies. This would be perfect for Hazelynn. ;)

Unbreakable - Performed by Fireflight - This is such an uplifting song, I just couldn't resist it. It's just so uplifting and about believing in yourself. :aww: This really represents the feelings of the characters.

I'm Your Girl - Performed by Felicia Barton, single from Disney's "Descendants: Wicked World" - Talk about girl power! ^^ I love it, it's just so amazing how confident girls can be. Love it, definitely for the girls in the story!

Sore De Wa, Mata Ashita - Performed by Asian Kung Fu Generation, single from the anime movie "Naruto: Road To Ninja" - Okay, admittedly, I'm not the world's biggest Naruto fan, especially since the ending of it. But listening to this song, I actually like it. It's so smooth and gentle, and it just fits with the mood of friendship between the characters in my story. Hope you like it too.

Never-End Tale - Performed by Konomi Suzuki & Tatsuyuki Kobayashi, single from the anime "Fairy Tail" - I'm not really much into anime songs, but this is just awesome! :D I love the feel of it and how feel it is to just listen to it....just as I want my readers to have fun reading my stories. It's awesome, really!

Shower - Performed by Becky G - I think this song perfectly describes Hazelynn warming up to Kwame in my story. He tries so hard to impress her. :aww: But slowly she sees he has his good qualities. Plus, it's an amazing song, I hope you all think so too. :D

Drag Me Down - Performed by One Direction - I admit, I'm not much into boy bands...well, except for some from the 90's, but One Direction certainly captured my interest and they do have some songs with substance. With this song, it's describes perfectly how Billie and the others will do their best to fulfill their destinies and roles, no matter what they face. I love it. ;)

Hold My Hand - Performed by Michael Jackson featuring Akon - This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. It certainly means so much more to me since Michael was one of my fave singers, and this song is perfect for the ending of the Legacy story. Such emotions and a wonderful message. ;) NEW!

Green Light - Performed by BoA Kwon - Such a lively and positive song, I just know it's fits so well how determined and motivated Billie and the others are, especially since knowing their lineage. Totally could be an ending theme. ;)

Revolution - Performed by Crystal Kay featuring Namie Amuro - Talk about girl power! :w00t!: I love the feeling of strength and independence in this and it's just how the girls in the story feel as they get to know each other and the Yoruba Orisha. :aww:

Friends Are Forever - Performed by the voice actresses for Lego Friends (TM) - If there was ever a song about girl power and friendship, it would be this! I love the energetic feeling of it and it definitely shows how close Billie and the other girls of the group are. Love it!

Masayume Chasing - Performed by BoA Kwon, single from the anime "Fairy Tail" - I love upbeat, catchy music and this is just perfect for Keisha and her positive attitude, even though she's faced a lot of bullying and hardship in her life. I can see her dancing to this along with the other girls. ^.^

Broken Night - Performed by Aimer, single from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia - I just love the emotion in this song, it really fits with how Billie and the others feel about their destinies and knowing how hard it could be. This could be another great ending theme song if this was a show. ^^

Change Your Life - Performed by Little Mix - A most beautiful song about self-empowerment and sticking by your friends, no matter what. The most important element in this story I try to focus on is friendship, and Billie and the others do become close and fight to keep their hopes and dreams alive. Lovely song.

It Girl - Performed by Jason Derulo - From since I started writing this story, I've always thought that for Dante, it was love at first sight when he first meets Billie (even though he doesn't realizes it at first). This song is for that feeling of instant love and knowing that you've found the one.

Try Again - Performed by Aaliyah - If there was one song I could pick for when Billie, Dante, and the others first fight against Samedi, it would be this! I love the beat and it totally represents their resolve in protecting their home. Sadly, the singer Aaliyah has passed, but thankfully her legacy lives on. :aww:
