Heart Of Igboju Chapter 22
Legacy Of The Gods Book II: Heart Of Igboju
Chapter 22
At first, Erin could only blink her eyes in disbelief, wondering if what she was seeing was real. Yes, she was overwhelmed with relief, but was this actually happening? Was Billie and her other friends finally awake? She didn’t know if she should say “hello” back or just wait for her impending death. So she just stood there in complete shock….until Billie stepped forward and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.
“Erin? You okay? It’s me, Billie,” She gave her friend a concerned look, tilting her head.
At the touch, the French-descent girl finally knew that it was indeed happening. Her long-time friend did not perish as she feared, she was alive….alive and ready to defend their home and families from the impossible evil that Erin never imagined existed. By all science facts and logic, none of what she just saw should be real, these creatures and gods, yet here they were, and now her fr

Legacy Of The Gods Book II: Heart Of Igboju
Chapter 21
After landing on the hard floor of the blackened dungeon, Billie could only gasp in deep pain as she lay stunned for a moment. Despair entered her heart as she thought back on what she and her friends went through to find the powerful Madame Brigitte. Was this how it was going to end? To be completely destroyed by the very person they were setting their hopes on? The person who was the only one who could give them a chance in defeating Shigidi? It was hopeless, all of it. How could she have been so blind and foolish?
She couldn’t help a tear falling down her dark cheeks as she struggled to pick her head up. All of this...for nothing. So discouraged was she that she didn’t even see Brigitte raise her arm once more, the glowing and hot red whip ready to rip her apart. Too late did she finally manage to raise her head and see the danger coming….but she was filled with so much discouragement that she could barely brin

Chapter 20
With a scream, Erin fell to the carpeted floor, rolling until she slammed into the side of a wall. The broken broom stick she held fell clumsily from her hands, making her more vulnerable than ever. Panting, she slowly looked up to see one of the creatures who backhanded her away approaching her, victory gleaming in its eyes. For just a moment, the brown-haired girl was frozen, fear creeping in her heart as she imagined that this was the end for her. How did it come to this? Only a couple of days ago, she and Billie were just ordinary high school girls…..friends for as long as they could remember and dreaming about a future where anything was possible and they could be whatever they wanted to be.
They dreamed of inspirations for other young girls in sports, traveling to other countries in soccer playoffs and competitions, and finally, when the time was right, finding guys who would later become their husbands and help start a

Chapter 19
Grunting in pain, Shigidi stood up from the ground, dusting off the dirt from his shoulders and chest. He then turned and fixed savage, glowing green eyes on the group as they desperately fought to finish off the few remaining dream creatures. Anger surged through the ancient god’s heart, making his body start to shake with rage. Never had ANYONE, much less mortals, stood up against him like this. He had made an innumerable amount of mortals and gods cower before him, made them scream in fear until they had gone insane, never to come back from the dark abyss of madness.
But these young ones just continued and continued to defy him, to make a fool of him and disrupt his carefully thought-out plan he had waited many millennia to bring forth. How were they so powerful? How were they able to come this far against him when so many more stronger, hardened warriors fell before him in a crumpled heap within moments of stepping before

Chapter 18
If time passed in the Dream Sphere as it did in the physical realm, Billie and the others took no notice as they continued to fight with all they had against the mindless earth creatures. But it did seem like it went on forever, like it had been hours since they even took a second to take a breath. Although they did not feel the physical drain and exhaustion as they would have in the waking realm, their hearts still beat more than a thousand miles a minute as they fought on, determination and their desire to protect their family and home from Shigidi driving them.
Billie raised an arm, feeling Aja’s power and strength flowing through her as before, and willed a mound of earth to rise up quickly and fling back one of the creatures as it nearly descended on her. Next to her, Aja continued to fire her long and exquisitely designed arrows. At first Billie worried that she would run out of the weapons with how fast and how much sh

For just a little while longer, Billie wanted nothing more than to just roam and explore the amazing Dream Sphere, to have free access to place in this realm that by all means shouldn’t possibly exist. A whole realm where the dreams of every living person were real? How could this be? She wanted to explore the endless landscape, the lay back and look up at the swirling hypnotic colors of the sky. She wanted to touch and smell the grass and flowers that had impossible colors and shapes. She wanted to run and chase after the scurrying little animals she had no names for.
But at the grave warning and looks of the Orisha gods, she knew there would be no way. They were here on a mission, and if they failed, it was not only them that would suffer, but so much more innocent people back home. There was no way she was going to let them down, not if she could help it. Taking a deep breath, she turned her head to look at Dante, standing

Interests
Hello everyone, me again. :aww: I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving,  Christmas, New Year's, whether you celebrate those holidays or not. The point is that you got to spend time with family and friends and just take the time to relax and reflect on the past year, not really anything religious and such. So far, the past year has still been...well...a little challenging, but not really as bad as the previous years, especially with my dad passing away back in 2015. No real big change since then, but I'm still holding on to hope that things will improve and I can finally get out of this small town. It just takes time, faith, and being strong mentally and spiritually. Right now, people in the world is going through so much and we all have to take the time to take a breather and be grateful for what we have, no matter how small. :thanks: It's easy to forget that, especially in times where people take pleasure in being such complainers, whining, entitled, rude, and just plain so easily offended, especially on social media and specifically Twitter. That's one of the reasons I haven't signed up on it yet. I don't want to have to curse someone out just because of what I post. I don't want to have to confront someone who feels that in order to be "cool" and "tolerant" and validate themselves, they have to insult me because of my views and morals. No, sorry, it doesn't make you look cool and the "hero" because you post that you are angry for something I said. It just makes you look foolish. I don't have time or tolerance for your "fake angry" and overly-sensitive feelings and then hiding your ignorance behind a computer screen. Get a life, and get out from your mama's basement!! *Twitter troll* --> :O_o: :chainsaw: <-- *me*

Anyway, besides that, I'm really ready for the warm weather now. Winter has been tough and I just want the warmth to help me look forward to a new future and life outside of this small town. :aww: Here's to the upcoming Summer! :w00t!: I got to see the new Black Panther movie, and it was pretty awesome. Granted, it wasn't as good as Captain America: Civil War or Winter Soldier, but it was still pretty damn good and such an inspiration for so many. I'm not a big Disney fan...at least not like I used to be years go, but when they actually do something right or meaningful, they do it right. :thanks: That's why it's really important for me know that I ask that if anyone is willing, they can contact me about going a request or commission for me. I would love to have a pic of my old Sailor Moon OC's, Sailor Sirius and her cousin Sailor Polaris, excitedly meeting Black Panther/T'Challa, and even Princess Shuri, his sister, as she is now officially a Disney Princess. As far as I know, Black Panther was the first Marvel Black superhero, and Sailor Sirius and her cousin Sailor Polaris the first Black Sailor Senshi. So I just thought at this time, it would be fitting for them to meet as it shows that young, ethnic kids here in America, Africa, and even the Caribbean and South America definitely need to see themselves in a positive light. :aww: Please, please note me and I'll get references and details. I don't have much money at the moment, but perhaps we can work something out for a commission. But requests would be nice too. So please let me know. Thanks again to those who have read my original stories and was so kind and respectful enough to give me their feedback and comments. You are truly the amazing ones here on DA. That's it with me. Take care and don't forget to drop me a note...about anything! :iconbaibaiplz:
